1. Who we are

Just Yin is operated by Southern Fields AB, registered in Sweden. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this app. Contact: support@justyin.app

2. What data we collect and why

Account data (with your consent)

Name, email address, and hashed password — used for login, communication, and account recovery.

Usage data (legitimate interest)

Last played session, favorite sessions, total number of sessions, push notification preferences, subscription status — used to provide a functional, personalized experience and to send relevant reminders.

Technical data (legitimate interest)

App version, operating system, device type, language setting, last active date, and anonymized crash logs — used for troubleshooting and app improvement.

3. What we do not collect

  • We do not collect health data or sync with Apple Health or Google Fit.
  • We do not share your data with third parties beyond the service providers listed in section 4.

4. Service providers

We use third-party services to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf:

  • Analytics tool — app usage analytics
  • Payment provider — subscription management
  • Email tool — email communication
  • Crash reporting — error logging
  • Backend / hosting — data storage

Each provider operates under a data processing agreement (DPA) with Southern Fields AB.

5. Communication

With your consent, we send push notifications and emails — reminders, session tips, and app updates. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings or by contacting us.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

7. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@justyin.app.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

8. Children

This app is not directed at users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
